Alexis Miller is the Principal and Managing Partner of Gen3 Innovations Lab, with extensive experience building and scaling consumer service businesses, including successful ventures in the Medspa and aesthetic wellness industry. With over 20 years of expertise in strategic marketing, business development, and operations, Alexis brings a proven track record of growing multi-location service-based businesses and elevating the client experience through innovation and operational excellence.

Alexis has consulted medspa businesses on launch and expansion of locations focused on non-invasive cosmetic treatments, wellness therapies, and regenerative skincare services. She has overseen full P&L, and helped owners build cross-functional teams of medical professionals and estheticians, and implemented data-driven systems that enhanced both customer acquisition and retention.

Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working alongside surgeons, nurses, and healthcare professionals in a variety of surgical settings, developing a strong commitment to precision, teamwork, and patient safety.

I take pride in being dependable, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure—qualities that are essential in the operating room. After 25 years in the field, I continue to value the importance of staying knowledgeable, adapting to new technology and procedures, and maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.

Donovan Forges is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) with a passion for helping patients look and feel their best through personalized aesthetic treatments and comprehensive wellness care. With more than a decade of nursing experience, he brings a strong clinical foundation to Ballantyne Plastic Surgery, combining medical expertise with an individualized approach that prioritizes each patient’s unique goals.

Born and raised in Hawaii, Donovan developed an early appreciation for a lifestyle centered on balance, health, and overall well-being. His journey has taken him from California’s Bay Area to Arizona and Connecticut before he ultimately settled in Charlotte, where he now calls home.

Devon Barbalace

Aesthetic Registered Nurse Injector

Devon Barbalace, BSN, RN, is a Registered Nurse and aesthetic injector dedicated to helping patients achieve refreshed, natural-looking results through personalized treatment plans rooted in safety, artistry, and evidence-based care. She believes aesthetic medicine is about enhancing each patient’s unique features and is passionate about creating subtle, balanced results that inspire confidence.

Devon earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Drexel University after completing a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science at the University of South Carolina. Prior to specializing in aesthetics, she cared for critically ill pediatric patients in the Pediatric Intensive Care Units at both Levine Children’s Hospital in Charlotte and the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. This experience sharpened her clinical judgment, precision, and calm attention to detail.
